Mining – The blockchain is being maintained by so called ‘miners’. These (groups of) PC’s will place transactions in a block and add it to the blockchain. The miner who finishes the block, will be rewarded with a cryptocurrency of said blockchain. Other miners check the block before it is added to the blockchain.
